The Experience of Tool

So, its been a couple of days since I saw Tool for the second time, and I guess I should mention something about the show.
Firstly, when they put 8:00 on the ticket stubb, they should mention that it is not the doors at 8 and rather the effin show that starts at 8. Guy and I stood in line outside of GM Place for an hour until 9 waiting to get in. Thus, we entirely missed ISIS's set which bums me out. I really hope they play here again when their new album comes out.

Guy and I got to see the show for free in Bell's luxury box which was great because the seats had a decent view of the stage. On the other hand, it sucked because the guy that was in charge of the box was a douchebag. He kept punching us in the arm and trying to get us to "rock out" more. What a knob. Oh well, he also would not stop giving us free beer. That was good.

Tool were amazing as before. Their stage setup was a little toned down from the last time I saw them, but they mostly played stuff from 10000 days. Rosetta Stoned was a real killer to hear live. All 15 minutes of it. Very good.

I wish the show was longer, that I had seen ISIS and that it was sans Bell dickheads, but all in all, a good time was had.
