Consequences be they May

I have offically just enjoyed my first day off from work. I have a whole month to myself (mostly) now and I plan on enjoying it.
I'm a good deal through the new Harry Potter book and it's just as enjoyable as I expected. Great fun.
Soon I'll be off to chill with some folks at Kim's place and have a couple of drinks. Not too many as I have never been a big drinker. I'm not sure why really. I mean, I have had a couple of bad nights (wine is only good in small to moderate doses. Any more and the night goes black), but other than that, I rarely go too hard. I think its because I don't generally like the feeling of being drunk. Some people do. I suppose its a sort of escape from reality, but that has never been the case for me. It always ends up with my being a total donkey's ass and shouting some random nonsence at my friends(pick up the spare!).

No, I'll keep my cola and occasional glass of merlot. I am also keen on pints of Heiniken and Asahi.
